Coe 96 Murrini Petal Heirloom Marigold 1 oz

$22.95Price

These Coe 96 glass petal shapes are delicate and vibrant works of art, mimicking the fragile beauty of real flower petals and leaves. They are created using the traditional lampworking technique, in which glass rods are melted with a torch to shape them. The petal itself is made from molten glass that is carefully manipulated to form a smooth, curved shape resembling the soft, graceful form of a flower petal or leaf.

The glass is often richly colored, with shades that range from deep blues, reds, purples, and greens to soft pastels like pink, lavender, and turquoise. Some petals may feature multiple colors blended together in a gradient or marbled pattern, and intricate designs creating a stunning visual effect.

The surface of the petal is smooth and glossy, reflecting light in different angles, adding depth and dimension to its appearance. Often, the edges of the petal are slightly curled or wavy, enhancing its natural look, while some petals may have intricate details, such as tiny bubbles or raised patterns embedded in the glass, adding texture and visual interest. They often exhibit vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and a remarkable level of detail.

These are sold in 1-ounce packages and can be tack- or full-fused; either process works beautifully. These beauties are one-of-a-kind. They can also be made in custom colors. Sizes can vary as our patterns and finished products are unique. Depending on the size, there are approximately 25-35 petals in each bag.
