Coe 96 Petal Amarisse 1 oz

These Coe 96 purple petals are soft and slightly curved, like a delicate scoop of silk. Its main color is a rich lavender or violet, but what makes it truly special are the transparent veins that run through it—faintly shimmering lines of deeper purple, like strands of tinted glass. These veins catch the light just enough to glimmer slightly, giving the petal a magical, ethereal appearance. The edges of the petal are smooth and slightly ruffled, and the overall shape is graceful, like it floated gently down from a blossom touched by moonlight. As the glass is heated and begins to flow, each pull is individual. The pattern can fluctuate from start to finish. Many times, changing it completely. We call it happy accidents!

Our cane is sold by the ounce, and it is often over an ounce. Sizes can vary as our patterns and finished products are unique. Each piece is approximately 2” long and 5-7mm wide. The number of pieces in each bag depends on the cane's size. We do not precut slices, as each person has their own style of nipping canes.

To maintain murrini shape, a gentle tack fuse is best; each kiln is different, so we don’t recommend firing above 1350.
