Imagine a tiny, lifelike ladybug made entirely of Coe 96 glass. Its body would be smooth and shiny, reflecting light like a gemstone. As Glass is heated and begins to flow each pull is individual. The pattern can fluctuate from the beginning to the end. Many times, changing it completely. We call it happy accidents!
Our cane is sold by the ounce and many times it is over an ounce. Sizes can vary as our patterns are unique! Each piece is approximately 2” long. The number of pieces in each bag depends on the size of the cane. We do not precut into slices as each individual has their own style of nipping canes.
To maintain murrini shape a gentle tack fuse is best each kiln is different, so we don’t recommend firing above 1350.
