Coe 96 Murrini Strawberries 1 oz

$18.95

These Coe 96 glass strawberries capture the natural beauty of the fruit in artistic form, preserving the charm of a fresh strawberry in glass. This small, intricate glass art piece is created using a technique that results in a pattern embedded within the glass using colorful glass canes, which are then sliced into thin cross-sections to reveal the design. For a strawberry murrini, the pattern typically mimics the appearance of a ripe strawberry, often featuring a bright red core to represent the fruit's flesh, sometimes with subtle white or yellow accents to suggest seeds.

The surrounding glass might have green hues to represent the strawberry's leaves and stem, creating a vibrant, colorful contrast with the red center. The overall effect is a beautiful, detailed slice of glass that captures the essence of a strawberry in its shape and color. As the glass is heated and begins to flow the pattern fluctuates many times changing the pattern. Each part of the pull is incorporated into the bags. Sizes can vary as our patterns and finished product are unique. Each piece is approximately 2” long. The number of pieces in each bag depends on the size of the cane. We do not precut slices as each person has their own style of nipping canes.

To maintain murrini shape a gentle tack fuse is best each kiln is different, so we don’t recommend firing above 1350. Happy Fusing!
